Richard Shapiro's Malibu Home.

From Architectural Digest comes a home of epic Rough Luxe status. Designer and antiques deal Richard Shapiro's beachfront Malibu home can only be described at historically luxurious. 15th century tables reside alongside 17th century mirrors hung on 18th century paneled walls, paired with 19th century stools and lit by contemporary lamps all centered around vintage mid-century coffee tables. Every rooms covers century after century of collectors items. All too appropriate for an antiques dealer, we suppose. Roman, Italian, Moroccan, and even Thai furniture stud the retreat which breathes with light and the austerity of a fort. Truly a unique home of epic proportions.
